- Carter Murphy was born Saturday Jan 12th at 1:53 a.m. He was born at 26.5 weeks. (full term is 40 weeks) He was 15.56 ounces and 10.75 inches long. Carter hung on strong for one month. We lost our sweet baby boy on Feb 12, 2008.

While I don't know Carter or his mom or dad, I found this site through Dave and Amy Dearinger who are going through their own struggle. Having a 1 and a 3 year old, this story of Carter simply breaks my heart. Please hang in there Carter, you have a lot of people pulling for you.
